This year we were on our own for Christmas. We decided last night that it is more fun to be with family during the holidays. We were able to spend part of yesterday with old family friends, (they knew my parents when they were first married and lived in Vale, OR - now they live in Edgewood, NM) it was great to see them and their family again.
We stayed home this year partly due to money - now that Kendra is two we have to pay for her airplane ticket, and partly because we are really behind with everything because I was so sick. Mark has six days off of work so we get him all of next week too! This is great! Sometime between now and then I hope he'll fix our kitchen faucet which broke a couple of weeks ago.
Here are some pictures from Christmas:

If I didn't know any better, it looks to me like Prince Phillip is cheatin' on Aurora with Cinderella! Tsk tsk.
Hope you guys had a good Christmas! We had one with just us, too, and I also missed my family. ;)
I agree with you about Christmas being better with family. Will and I were home, just the two of us, for Christmas. It was a good day, the snow kept us inside all day and we didn't go anywhere. I decided that Christmas looks way more fun when you have kids...hope that can happen one of these next years.
Kendra playing with her dolls made me laugh--so cute.
Happy New Year Vickers family. Thanks for the Christmas card and invite to view your blog. Your little Kendra is such a princess and congrats on the upcoming addition to your family. Please feel free to check out our blog and let's keep in touch. - Deven and Kim Davis
