From The Heart

Last week I did not go to the doctor!  Megan said her ear hurt for a couple of days.  I was like, "didn't you get the memo kid?  This is our doctor free week!"  Luckily after two days she stopped complaining.  Now I shall challenge the forces of the universe to see if we can go TWO WEEKS!

I wish I was better at expressing myself through words.  My heart is overflowing with gratitude. I have three little girls.  I've never had a miscarriage.  Although pregnancy, birth, and infants are difficult for me, I've been able to have three with, compared to others, little complication.

My neighbor has always wanted a large family.  She is now pregnant with her second and, after preterm labor with her first at 34 weeks, and with her second at 22 weeks, she has been informed that she may only be able to have two.

My friend at church yearns for the opportunity to have a baby but is now considering adoption.

The stories could continue.

So as I write on my blog of the craziness of having three, it is in no way complaining.  I love that I have three; I am so blessed, lucky, and grateful. I was terrified to have Kylee because my PPD (postpartum depression) was so bad with Megan.  This time around the difficulty has been more physical (pregnancy and recovery) rather than emotional/mental.  When Megan was a couple months old I was asked to talk to the young women about how wonderful it was to have a baby and I couldn't do it.  So life presents its problems to us in different ways.  Some have the challenge of not having babies, my challenge is having them.  But I love that I could have them.

I think we are FINALLY done with thrush.  What a pain that was.

Megan is sleeping better.  That kid has been the worst sleeper ever.  After Kylee was born Megan began to sleep through the night maybe every other night.  It is now becoming more of a pattern and she has gone like three nights in a row!

Kendra hasn't had diarrhea associated with anxiety since January.  I'm not sure what happened but she sure is a happy kid now.

Look at those two.  What's not to love?

Phone Pics

Mark figured out how to download the pictures from my phone to our computer!  My old phone broke a year ago, so these are from April 2012 to present.

Love this picture of the girls.

Megan's little squish face, I love it.

Megan created her own doll.

All better!

The girls love to play around the table.  Something thrilling about walking around in a circle.
