Lovin Summer

The girls love our chickens.  Thy could spend all day outside with them.

Meet Fluffy.  Our Americana that does not like to be cuddled like the others.  Kendra was very proud to have caught her.

 

We decided to make homemade pizza ...the girls obviously helped.

 

They make sure to leave cheese so they can eat it.

 

Mark grew a beard for a week:

 

 I love this picture because there are times, and usually the most inconvenient, when all of a sudden the girls want to love baby Kylee.

 

Megan at swim lessons last week

 

She is actually doing the alligator crawl!  Yeah!  Her teacher really pushes her and she's doing so much better this time around.

 

Megan is learning how to use her arms with a fun noodle to get across the pool.

Her teacher made her jump in at the deep end and made sure to dunk her when she did so.  Megan wasn't so happy with her teacher that day.  Too bad I didn't get a close up of her annoyed face.

I signed the girls up for an introductory soccer class this summer.

Megan tried so hard and ran so fast to keep up with the other kids.

And she cried the whole time!  I felt so bad for her!  She wanted Kendra to hold her hand but Kendra wanted to play...poor Megan.

I never thought Kendra would be athletic; I was surprised at how well she did!  Now I'm trying to talk her into playing on a team!
